How Can I Avoid Getting Caught Up With Bronchitis?

I have bronchitis started from age of 16 I am now 23.from yesterday i am having shortness breath and cough...my doctor has prescribed me to use AB Phylline, Montair-LC, Synasma and bro-zedex. I would u know your view about the medicine given and guide to avoid getting caught with this "bronchitis".
