How Can I Be Sure That Rubella Caused The Miscarriage Or Was There Long Back ?

Hi Doctor, I had a miscarriage after 4 months. TORCH test showed Rubella IGG positive at 390. How can i be sure that it caused the miscarriage or if I had Rubella long back even before pregnancy. What are all the tests i should do before next pregnancy?

Hi,

Welcome to healthcaremagic.

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) There is no way to confirm it retrospectively.

2) As of now IgG does not have much significance.

3) You dont need many tests for one miscarriage

Let me know if you have any more queries.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
