How Can I Delay My Periods?

Hello Doctor, Today is my 18th day of my LMP and having PCOD,i am on ovulation induction treatment. last LMP was 30-Mar-2014. My follicle got ruptured on my 16th day.We are having continuous intercourse from past 2 days. Now we have planned a trip to tirumala on may 4,5,6,7. Hopefully I need to conceive this cycle. If not how can i delay my cycle for another 1 week to 10days. Because if the fertilization has not occured then i might get my periods on may 2nd or 3rd.So kindly suggest or advise the necessary action to be taken.Thanks.

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I suggest you to delay your trip rather then delaying your cycles if you are trying to conceive and have taken the medications, why to waste a chance. Trip can make you tired and exhausted which is not good for you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
