How Can I Get Rid Of UTI's Post Every Sexual Encounter ?
I cannot get rid of my UTI s. I get one every time I have sex. I take my round of antibiotics , am obviously too miserable to have sex at this point very often anymore because of it. I do everything you re supposed to do - urinate before and after sex, drink all kinds of cranberry juice, avoid perfumed soaps to wash with. Doesn t work. I have been on so many antibiotics that they seem to no longer work, and at one point, I was sent into the hospital with an infection so bad that I needed IV antibiotics. My doctors suggested that I take an antibiotic after every time I have sex at one point. Guess what, doesn t help. I am severely allergic to levaquin , which absolutely does not help, either. And when I ever do escape another bout of UTIs from sex every rare once in a while, if I don t think when I m out on a Friday night and have any drink with Red Bull in it, it seems that the next morning ... I wake up with another UTI. I ve had every STI test done to confirm that s not an issue. At this point, I am desperate for any suggestions, because I ve been on antibiotics for the past month, and I just quit my doses yesterday, and my symptoms are already back full swing.

Recurrent UTI Advice- urine culture & sensetivity take Antibotices accordingly.VDRL test,gram stain& culture,PCR( polymerase chain reaction), HIV test,CD4 count. also advice-USG_abdomen &pelvis, CT contrast pelvis &retropertonem. use condom during sexual contact. hope my advice useful to you. thank you.

From your description I get it that you are getting recurrent urinary infection.unrestricted use of fluoroquinolones like levaquin and ciprofloxacin have made them useless in treating Urinary tract infection.Taking an antibiotic every time after sex will only make the bacteria resistant to that antibiotic and with the emergence of a dangerous strain called E.coli S131 which has caused some deaths in the U.S the F.D.A has advised against such unrestricted use of fluoroquinolones.One drug for which all Urinary tract infection bacteria are sensitive is Nitrofurantoin which comes in a strength of 100mg .I would advise you to take Nitrofurantoin 100mg thrice daily for 7 days.Along with this you should take pottassium citrate syrup 10ml twicw daily mixed in 15 ml of water.you should drink nearly 2 litre of water as you are prone to recurrent bouts of Urinary tract infection

You have seen two answers here and they give you a way to get rid of this problem.
I am going to teach you how to prevent this type of problem when you have sex.
This complain itself suggest that you always have sex with no precaution of hygiene.
It also suggests that you must be having sex with new partner evrytime, mean you might be sex worker.
While before going to have sex you must clean your body and your private parts thoroughly with a good soap and an antiseptic solution should be used to clean your private parts after soaping.
Ask your partner too to bath thoroughly and clean his private parts with soap as well antiseptic solution after that.
And I think you must not believe your partner in cleaning, as he is not accustomed for it nor serious for that, as he having no such problem as you have, so you should take active participation in his cleaning.
Clean your mouth and ask your partner too for the same if you are going to have oral sex too.
Never indulge in anal sex in between.
Your partner must take precaution not to touch your anus by the penis while going in to vagina.
Your bed cloths must be changed before sex with a new hygienically cleaned bed sheets and pillow covers.
Clean your private parts thoroughly as before after sexual act is over with no waste of time.
If you want to do sex again after some time with this partner again than again start with same procedure of hygiene as you are going to do fresh sex.
