How Can I Get Rid Of Painless Bump On Upper Lip?

I have a tiny bump on my lip line of my upper lip. It sort of looks like a concave blackhead, or maybe an open pore with a black dot in the middle. When I push that part of my mouth out from the inside with my tongue it s like the blackhead pushes out and once I release it goes back to being concave. I always get them every so often and they are really unappealing. What exactly is it and how can I get rid of it?

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would keep a possibilty of a giant comedone /black head OR a small sebaceous cyst with a central punctum.

I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a confirmatory diagnosis.

Comedone can usually be easily extracted with a comedone extractor.

A sebaceous cyst needs to be removed surgically along with the cyst wall to prevent recurrence.

take care
