How Can I Get Rid Of Sandy Grit Scalp That Is Bothering For Past 21/2 Years?

I have a sandy gritty scalp for approximately 2 1/2 years. I saw two doctors both who treated me with all kinds if expensive medications. When they couldn t find a cure they told me they could not help me . This sand is clear in color and difficult to see. This sand makes my scalp feel tight, dry and itchy. When i scratch the sand off, it can becomes gritty and wet. I think my scalp gives off a fluid that drys into this sandy or gritty substance that can feel waxy. I also get pimples that are painful. I am uncomfortable all day long. What can I do about this unbearable problem?

Hi,

It may be probably seborrheic dermatitis. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Ketoconazole containing shampoo may be used to cleanse the scalp. A antibiotic course may be taken to cure secondary infection. Avoid triggering factors like stress and worries.

Hope this helps.
