How Can I Maintain The Hb Level While Suffering From Adenomyosis ?
sir i am 39 yr old my hight is 5ft &wt is 71kg i am having adenomyosis suffuring with heavy flow and decrease in hb please suggest me to maintain hb and my health.

first of all you need to take treatment to reduce your menstrual flow. excess loss is the cause for the drop in Hb. there are various treatment options available ranging from tablets, coil to invasive procedures like endomatrial ablation and Hysterectomy. though certain procedures like endometrial ablation may not be very effective for adenomyosis. Hysterectomy is the definitive and permanent cure. whatever the option you may choose, you must start taking Iron supplements under supervision.

if you have already completed the family and the symptoms are severr its better to go for hysterectomy.Controlling the menstrual cycle through hormonal contraception may provide some relief.
At the present time, the only treatment for adenomyosis is surgery.Frequently the moderately enlarged uterus is asymptomatic and no treatment is necessary. Temporary relief of very painful heavy periods can be achieved with GnRH agonists such as Lupron.
take lot of green leafy vegetables,proteins. multivitamin capsules are helpful.keep hb level in normal range by iron supplement
consult your gynecologist about treatment option.
