How Can I Overcome My Depression To Keep My BS Level Normal As I Am Diabetic Also ?
I m 27yrs old, female. I m hvng diabetes for past 2 yrs. Now a days, I was highly depressed and I cant keep my BS level in normal. how can I overcome it?

Thanks for your query. As you rightly pointed out stress and depression can worsen your blood sugar levels by acting on sympathetic system. I suggest you to undergo a thorough psychiatric evaluation for depression/ anxiety disorders so that appropriate psychotropic medication can be prescribed. Stress reduction strategies can be learnt from a clinical psychologist. Yoga, meditation and breathing relaxation exercises may be beneficial. Wish you good health.

Dear thanks for the query,see at your age smooth control of diabetes is required and please try to maintain it.Stress can directly affect the control and you very well know the reason.Please take help your family doctor and if needed a psychiatric for your condition.Keep your self busy,avoid impulse eating,plan your diet,do regular exercise and take medicines regularly.this will take care of your problem.take care.
