Proxyvon is not considered addictive and contains an anti-spasm medicine with an Aspirin like substance. Corex has codeine which is a narcotic. There, treatment like a narcotic addiction with tapering off gradually is the usual advise. The amount in the medicine is rather low so the reduction would be down to zero rapidly. There are medications to take to lower the side effects fro withdrawal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
