I come to know that i am pregnant through home pregnancy test. Then i have used MTP kit to terminate and within 2 days my periods started and Now its just a day gone to stop my periods and i used Home pregnancy test. But it still shows positive. What can i do??
A urine pregnancy test will take atleast a week to become negative after the abortion and may remain positive even after that if the process is incomplete.
So please do not worry as of now. Just wait for a week and recheck. If it is still positive you will need a gynec evaluation and also an ultrasound to confirm that the process has been complete. Also even if the test becomes negative it is advisable to get an evaluation 7 -14 days after the abortion to ensure that everything is alright.
