General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Try taking pain medicine like Ibuprofen twice a day after food. This should relieve you. Try to note if there was any vaginal discharge, before insertion. The cu-T insertion can enhance previous vaginal infection to give you symptoms. Please get yourself checked up by your gynecologist and start medication advised to control the problem.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
