Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Iam diagnosed with OCD and mood disorders. Iam being cured but I have a constant fear that I can never be cured. And I feel like that fear is being true sometimes....My thought is really making my mood to swing. Why is my mind not believing me even though Iam getting cured!
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Having constant fear about that you cannot be cured of OCD in itself is a symptom of OCD. In that sense your problem is not cured. Please talk to your psychiatrist for treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
