How Can A Bartholin’s Cyst In The Genital Area Be Treated?
Hi Doctor. I am 18 year old female from india. I think i just developed a cyst over my bartholin gland in my genital area. It is called bartholin gland cyst. I referred to google and it just said same what i had. There is swelling on my right labia. There is redness too and it hurts as well. I can barely sit or walk or cross my legs. What can i do? I can not consult a gyno in real life face to face because i am sexually active which i d only want to keep a secret.
If you are very much sure it's a Bartholin's cyst. It's not caused due to sex, its an obstructed gland in vagina and dr won't to prevaginal examination for Bartholin's cyst. just by touching and looking she can diagnose.
Have you tried Sitz baths, Antibiotics? If not we can try that. If you are complaints persist visiting doctor is a must because if infection flares up you will end up with fever and may need admission.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
