Hi, I am 29 year old married woman, i am getting boil near my vagina which is not going since a month. I got married in February and also I went through a minor incision surgery for bartholin abscess. I met with a dermatologist, taking the medicines but it is taking a lot of time to get healed. Thanks

Hello,

A boil is a superficial bacterial infection and can be managed easily.

As of now, you can use topical antibiotics like Mupirocin after cleaning with soap and water.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and start on antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
