How Can A Bruise In Between The Buttocks Be Treated?

Hi, I recently lost 58-57 lbs in the last 5 months doing clean eating and exercise. About a month ago I noticed that I had what appeared to be bruising on the inside of my buttocks in the crack only on both sides and thought it had maybe been caused by the running I was doing. What is it? What causes it? How do I get rid of it?

Hi,

I understand your concern.

The bruise in between the buttocks could be due to trauma on the local gluteal muscles. One possible explanation is running (overexercised muscles) or hit anywhere without knowing.

Anyway, I advise to apply alternating warm and cold compresses for a couple of days. If still no improvement, should consult with your doctor further to determine the right diagnosis.

Wish fast recovery.
