How Can A Bruise Like Spot On The Cheek Be Treated?
Hi, a few hours ago I was messing around with some friends and they stuck a Hoover to my cheek, a few hours later the redness has gone but there is a hickey like bruise that s quite big, I ve applied ice and massaged it and I m wondering how long it s going to take to go away? Thanks!
hi, thank you for posting on HCM. as per your history, you have bruise which may take minimum 1 week to resolve. my treatment advise would be: - do not worry - you may apply heat in the form of wash warm cloth applied over the bruise 2-3 times a day - you may take tab acetaminophen for pain. - avoid taking ibuprofen as it may interfere with blood clotting And bruise may take more time to absorb. - it will heal on its own. - you may apply calamine lotion for soothing effect. if persistent, consult a dermatologist nearby. wishing you a good health. thank you
