How Can A Burst Cyst Be Treated?
My son has a gaping hole left from a burst cyst. I have been cleaning and packing it for him as he has no $ or insurance. So far so good, but I m wondering about different types of packing gauze. Maybe I should use some that are impregnated with antimicrobial substances as this is a gaping wound, I want to educate myself and do everything right.

As per your case history of cyst, my treatment advice is:
1. Do not squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Only curative treatment is excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon.
