I have an 8yr old female child who has had a low grade fever and headache. Also complains if generalised aches and pain. She was kept home from school and seemed to get better.less than a week and the symptoms are back. She is a cheerleader and works very hard when she practices her routine.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Though fever and headache can often be treated with Children's Ibuprofin, these symptoms together may also indicate another illness, ie: Strep Throat. This is something that would require antibiotic. Therefore, I recommend you consult with your doctor so the correct diagnosis can be made and the appropriate treatment plan implemented.
