How Can A Cyst In The Right Ovary According To An Ultrasound Report Be Treated?

the uterus measures 7.2*4.1*3.2cm. The endometrium measures 0.3cm. this is not thickened. a small fibroid is seen posteriorly measuring 0.9*0.7*0.8cm. The uterus is otherwise unremarkable. The right ovary measures 3.5*2.1*2.8cm. This is not enlarged. A cyst is seen measuring 0.7*0.5*0.5cm. No other systic change is noted. The left ovary measures 2.6*1.6*2.2cm. this is not enlarged. No cystic change is seen. There is no free fluid in the pelvic cul-de-sac. Impression: SMALL UTERINE FIBROID. NO ENDOMETRIAL THICKENING. SUBCENTIMETER CYST IN A NON-ENLARGED RIGHT OVARY. LEFT OVARY APPEARS UNREMARKABLE.

Hi,
I have gone through your USG reports.

I can assure you that there is nothing to worry in this ultrasound report and it looks almost normal.
There is small fibroid(kind of noncancerous tumor commonly seen in young to middle aged females) is seen in uterus. No need to worry about it because its quiet normal and no treatment is needed unless it become large enough to cause symptoms.
The wall thickness of your uterus is normal and thus chances of developing uterine cancer in near future is very less.
A small cyst of size less than one centimeter is seen in your ovary. It is also very common and no interventions are needed as of now.
I suggest you to take a repeat USG after one or two years.
If you have any symptoms, kindly consult your gynecologist.

Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
