How Can A Painful Bleeding Boil On The Thigh Be Treated?
i have a boil in the back of my thigh..it already formed the head for the past few days im putting antibiotic cream to it and covering it with a gauze..it seemed that the pus was poped out..now it s bleeding and turning dark in color..is it normal?it is also really painful that the lymph nodes on my groin area is somewhat swollen and painful too..
According to your clinical history the boil on your thigh is very much infected. The dark colored discharge might be a mixture of blood and pus.The swollen inguinal lymph node also indicates the sign of infection. The best thing you can do is drain the boil to clear the infection.A general practitioner or a trained nurse will easily do it.You have to take a course of antibiotics also.I suggest amoxclav twice a day for five days. You can have simple analgesics like paracetamol or ibuprufen to control pain.Hot compresses over the area also provide some relief. Check your blood sugar level if you have repeated boils.
