How Can A Painful Boil Under The Scrotum Be Treated?
My husband has what appears to be a boil that is growing right beneath his scrotum above his anus.
This happened once before when he was in a moving truck for 5 hours and after a week or so it eventually started bleeding and resolved itself. It is painful to sit. He now has it again and would like to know what causes this and is there anything he can do to prevent it or help the pain he is experiencing.

Nothing he can do to prevent it. Go to a family doctor or a general/colorectal surgeon for incision and drainage under general anesthesia.
