How Can A Painful Bump Under The Eye Be Treated?

I have like a bumb or like a pimple on my face close to my nose, under my eye bag that hurts to the touch which I think might be due to a dental abscess. I have had it for over 1 week now and it is not getting better. There is a scab on it right now but I have not been doing anything but putting rubbing Alcohol on it.. I do have a cracked molar which is bothering me right now. Right hand side of my face and my jaw bone near my ear hurts and there is a bump there too. Will this go away before treatment? I work in an office environment and this does not look right. Please help. YYYY@YYYY

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case history of painful bump, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
