How Can A Painful Swollen Lump On The Buttock Cheek Be Treated?
Following a THD procedure on 15 August 2014 I prolapsed 6 days after. The recovery has been painful since the first day but started to ease. Since Wednesday 5 August I noticed pain returning to the left hand side of my bum. It has got progressively worse and I now have an extremely painful swollen lump in my left butt cheek. The area is hot to touch appears to be red. There also appears to b swelling. There are no lumps on the outside of the cheek visually but to to touch, walk or do anything it is extremely painful. Any ideas
it is likely to be gluteal abscess ,you can confirm it by needle aspiration or ultrasonography and you need to drain it as soon as possible by a surgeon.
