How Can A Peeled Skin With Burning Sensations Be Treated?

Aged 33, weight 62kg, 154 inch. Used an epilator on my forehead yesterday and skin peeled off. Used yogurt to cool the place and using creme containing vitamin e and c. Still red/ brown in color and burning sensation when creme applied. Any remedies for a quick cure. Thank you.

Hi,

You seem to have developed an allergic skin rash.
You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.

You might need to apply a topical steroid cream like cortisone cream over the affected area twice a day for few days.
Take some oral antihistamines along.
See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy.
You might need a course of oral steroids.

Hope it helps,

Dr Geetika Paul.
