Dear Member, Thanks for posting your query. Various anomalies of the uterus like bicornuate uterus or a septum in the uterus will cause premature delivery or abortion. A specific diagnosis is must before any procedure is recommended. An ultrasound of the pelvis will tell whether there is really a small uterus or a anomaly which can be confirmed by MRI of pelvis . Some anomalies like septate uterus can be corrected surgically and give good results. sometimes a stich called cervical stitch is placed in the cervix to prevent abortion. please keep posted of any new investigations which are done.
