Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concern. Since you have irregular periods, it is difficult to predict the ovulation time and hence predict chances of conception after having unprotected sexual intercourse. In the present scenario, you can get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres to confirm/exclude pregnancy followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram to assess the status of the pelvic organs. If negative, you can manage your cycles through oral pills further on with the guidance of a specialist. This helps you in protection against conception also. Hope this helps.
