I have just has a full knee replacement on the 20/10/17 Recovering well on to walking with 1 crutch now, but have developed a rash, small red dot all around the knee 10cm all sides from scar. very itchy. what can I do. Just started using a nature vitamin e cream a few days ago. would this cause it. ? what can I do?
It could be a reaction to the implant or medicines during the procedure. As a first line management you can take antihistamines like Pheneramine. If symptoms persist you can consult your orthopedician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shinas Hussain,
