How Can A Red Bump On The Lower Eyelid Be Treated?

My lower eyelid has a small red bump on it, can t tell what that is, don t recall getting any injury to the eye. But underneath my eye has become puffy, swollen, bruised looking in the past 24 hours since I noticed the small red bump in the middle of the lower eyelid. The eye is tearing normally, perhaps more than normal. The eye doesn t hurt particularly, but the facial muscles under the eye are sore and hurt when my expression changes. I am rinsing with an eye cup and warm salt water periodically during the day, but don t know if that is the right thing to do. Any suggestions? Thanks
