How Can A Tender Spot Near The Eye Be Treated?

Just had gasoline spew in my face at the gas station. Went in to wash my face eyes and nose. I had glasses on which helped. A gentleman gave me visible. I used it. I have a spot on the outside of my eye that is tender. Just want to make sure if there is anything I should do. Thank You

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Proper washing with clean water is ideal. It can be repeatedly done. Get your eye examined by eye doctor to find out any other damage.

Spot can be examined by doctor for diagnosis. Visual acuity should be tested and follow-up should be done. I have no idea if any visuals or any medical report is available so its authenticity can not be confirmed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
