Hello
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If this a hernia of abdomen area then it has to be repaired with surgery only and no option is there, age is not matters unless you are not fit for surgery but it is seldom happened, it is advisable to have bed rest and compress the herniated area with brace.
Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
