How Can Acute Constipation With A Swollen Torn Rectum Be Treated?

hiya...my name is april.. i was in a&e last friday with bad stomach cramps due to not being able to go toilet very often. once a week if im lucky. but previous i was at the docs on the wednesday and he done a finger exam and said my rectum was swollen and tore. they gave me tablets at the hospital an iv gone a bit better since. i went to pass a stool today and i felt a rip and now my cramps are worse in the womb area and in the stool passage. i have also changed my diet and upped my water intake...can you help me please

Some advice that I can give to you are:
- Drink more water.
- Eat more fiber, especially soluble, non-fermentable fiber.
- Exercise more.
- Take Senna, an herbal laxative.
- Eat probiotic foods or take probiotic supplements.
-Use over-the-counter or prescription laxative
