How Can Aggravated Pain On The Upper Left Side Of The Neck Be Treated While Having A Cervical Disc Problem?
Dear Doctors, I have cervical disc problem. Disc 4 and 5. According to the CT scan it was a minor one. But I play badminton. I did physiotherapy and the pain and numbness subsided. Now again the pain aggravated on the left upper side of my neck. Should I continue playing badminton or should I stop. Really appreciate your answer. Kind Regards
I understand that you need an attention from the sports physiotherapist who will assess the muscle endurance and the muscles which are weak to be strengthened. What I understand is you need an intensive sports physiotherapy which will help you change the shots you play during the game and avoid the recurrence of the pain. As most injuries in the body are irreversible it is better to have a proper guidance for the better game and to avoid more injury so you can enjoy the sport.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
