Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi Manprit,
Thanks for using HealthCareMagic.

I can understand your situation.
Yes, he can be get rid of all of these substance.

Depending upon history of substances intake in terms of quantity, quality, duration and frequency, he can be admitted to deaddiction center and treatment can be done.

For alcohol, deaddiction is easy with medicines as alcohol withdrawal can be easily treated by benzodizepiene group of medicines. But to quit it foe ever he requires good motivation, motivational counselling and/or disulfiram therapy.

For tobacco it can be treated with propranolol, benzodiazepienes and bupropion.

For opioid molecule is available in deaddicition centers run by a psychiatrist called"Buprenorphine sublingual with naltrexone" is used.

All substance deaddiction can be done at a time after admission in hospital.
You just need to consult a psychiatrist who has deaddiction indoor treatment available.

For all above first need is he is ready to go to doctor.Otherwise it is not feasible to deaddict him.
All the best.

Hope I have answered your query.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
