How Can An Anus Wound With Rectum Bleeding And Burning Be Treated?

15 days earlier I had a wound in my anus, though the stool passed easily but when i cleaned it on touching the anus ring the wound hearted and even the blood started coming out. Then I took some medicine and also applied Betadine on my wound, hence with time I got relief with no blood and no pain. but even now I have a little burning there . What should I do?

Hi..

If the wound that you are talking about is just at the level of the anal opening and if it is appearing as a bump then it can be most probably a Hemorrhoid..

From your explanation also it is appearing like a Hemorrhoid..

So the first thing that you should do is to consult a Physician or a Proctologist and get yourself examined clinically..

In case of hemorrhoid -Application of steroid and numbing ointment..
-Sitz bath that is sitting in warm water tub especially after bowels....
-High fibre diet along with laxatives like Polyethylene glycol and stool softeners like Docusate to maintain proper bowels..
-Avoid spicy food and drink plenty of water..
