Splenomegaly may be due to many causes like malaria, kalazar, lymphomas, infectious mononucleosis or storage disorders etc. Moderate to severe splenomegaly may lead to fullness in the left rib margin and pain. Decreased appetite and finally there are chances of spontaneous rupture. So, please consult your physician/surgeon they will examine and treat you accordingly.
