How Can An Injection Site Swelling With Itching Be Treated?
My daughter has been taking hydroxyprogesterone shots every week and for about 2 months in hopes of preventing an early delivery of her 2nd child. Her first was 6 weeks premature. last week her injection site turned black and blue and was a little painful. Yesterdays injection seems to have caused a large swelling and is itchey and tender.

there are chances that blood could have extravasated and back colour is due to degeneration of pigments
