How Can An Itchy Rash Caused By A Bug Bite Be Treated?

I think I was bitten by something 5 or 6 days ago. it is very itchy and has a bumpy red rash around it. in the center is it white/yellow. When i noticed it, there was a small scab on it. i scratched it off and squeezed puss out of it. No more puss is coming out, but it is larger than a quarter and very itchy.

Hi thanks for posting your on health care magic.

Going by your clinical history,you seem to have allergic dermatitis.This can be sought out withdrugs like antihistaminics namely levocetrizine and desloratidine and fexofenadine,They help to reduce the itch.
Drugs like Predisolone which is a steroid can reduce the inflammation and size of the lesion.The pus could be because of secondary bacterial infection.This does not require special care.avoid itching.soothing gels like Calamine can be helpful.

You need to take a course of antibiotics and antihistaminics for few days and apply some sort of soothing lotion and antibiotic cream alternatively for few days.. I suggest u can have lactocalamine lotion and fusidic acid ointment and levocetrizine for a week..
