I got a rash yesterday that started at the top of my back, neck, and above and across my chest. It looked like i had been scratched. There is a minor itch associated with it. I was hoping it would just go away but instead it spread and is now around my eyes, forehead and parts of my face and the top of my thighs. It looks like heat rash, except for the scratch patterns. I have taken 1-2 of the small pink benadryl pills a day which only helps with the itch.
As per your case history you are having Miliaria, my treatment advice is:
1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
