Hi suhel bandukiya, Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have made the following clinical explanation- Most common epidemiological cause of unilateral(on one side of head) severe headache is 'Migraine'.Please see for the following typical features of migraine if they are present in your case: 1)Throbbing or pulse like headache 2)Associated Nausea 3)Photophobia and phonophobia(headache worsens on exposure to bright light and sound) 4)Visual aura
If these symptoms are associated ,please visit your physician so that he can put you on trial of anti-migraine therapy. If these symptoms are not present,please give proper history and get examined by your physician,in order to establish the diagnosis.He may ask you to get a brain imaging like computerised tomographic(CT) scan of head to see for any secondary cause of headache. I hope it helps your diagnosis and treatment.
