How Can An Ovarian Cyst Be Treated?

I saw a doctor, and they told me to make an appointment with the imaging place to see if i had ovarian cysts. My parents never made the appointment and i later ended up in the ER because I had one bust, but it wasnt severe, and they told me I had a 3cm cyst and to come back in about a month for another ultrasound to see if it got any bigger. Its been several months and i havent been back. I ve now had the same issues for a very long time. Maybe like 6 months. The cyst may have gotten bigger, or it may not have. But im still in a lot of pain. Would there be anything the doctor can do other than just tell me to go home like last time, even if it hasn t gotten bigger?

It depends up on the nature of cyst.If simple cyst less than 5cm can be observed. If endometriotic, dermoid or other cysts may need a laparoscopic surgery depending up on the size.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
