General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per your description, it seems like the ulcer is infected. Consult a general surgeon and start antibiotics. You can use topical antibiotics like mupirocin also.

Make sure that your blood sugar is under control as uncontrolled blood sugar might flare up the condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
