How Can Appetite Loss And Hip Area Pain After Radiation Be Treated?
Hi, My best friend had surgery for colorectal cancer. We are grateful to say that the cancer is gone. However, the side effects from the radiation and surgery are difficult. 1) He can not eat for days if he needs to go anywhere. Everything he eats goes straight through him. Do you have any suggestions? 2) Also, he has extreme pain in the hip area and trouble walking from the radiation. He was told that he was over-radiated and that the muscles in his hips were cooked(now hardened) and pulling away from the bone. Do you have any suggestions to help with this or where to seek help? Thank you so much for your time.
