How Can Appetite Loss Be Managed While Suffering From Paralysis?
My wife had a stroke two years ago. She is in a wheelchair and is a total transfer. Her left side is paralyzed. She has eaten well since coming home last year, but recently she has stopped eating. She just refuses. She also has not been urinating as much and has some yellow discharge
She could be having urinary tract infection. Please get urine culture test done to rule out the infection. If the infection is treated, she would get better and her appetite would improve. Please also ensure that she drinks at least 2.5 liters of water per day.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
