How Can Bad Oral Odor And Bitter Taste While On Chemotherapy Be Managed?

I m on cfm chemo and despite my great oral care: floosing, cleaning of tongue, brushing, using hydrogen Peroxide and mouth wash, i have a bitter taste and a bad mouth odor that I can smell myself when I close my mouth with my hand and direct the air to my nose. Question: is it acid reflex?? I hope that is what it is called. If it is, can antacid help?

Hi,

I must say that it can be due to the chemotherapy. Its due to acid reflux. You can have curd regularly, drink lots of water. It will be fine. Don't keep the mouth dry.
