How Can Big Toe Joint Gout Be Treated?

I have just been told by the doctor that I have gout in the joint of my big toe.....I have been drinking wine regularly for the last couple of months as well as a couple of beers every day.....whilst on the tablets do I have to give up drinking completely or can I continue with a couple of beers at the end of the day

hello,
if you have gout, it would be a good idea to give up beer, however it is not absolutely contraindicated, as long as you can mantain your serum uric acid levels normal.
