Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
In my opinion, she is having recurrent episodes. So it is very important to rule out thyroid dysfunction. Also very important to check liver function and renal function. It is also necessary to treat continuously and not to stop medications. Along with a good diet, it is important to do regular exercise.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Gayathri
