Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I read your query in detail and can understand what you might be going through. Going by what you have mentioned, it is difficult to categorize your wife as bipolar disorder. More information regarding her symptoms would be required.

In any case, she needs evaluation and management of her anger outbursts. It might be that she has some sort of underlying mood disorder or even personality disorder. I would suggest you to seek a psychiatric consultation for your wife. Management for her anger outbursts will include medications as well as therapy sessions focusing on relaxation and others depending on the final diagnosis.

Best wishes.
