I stupidly soaked my foot in bleach and have a fairly serious burn on the top of my foot. Cleaned with soap and water, applied A&D ointment, applied a non-stick bandage and gauze then wrapped with tape. Been doing this for 3 days but not seeing much improvement and the pain is worsening. HELP PLEASE.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
First of all leave the wound open. You should start applying a combination of steroid and antibiotic cream twice a day for at least 7-10 days. I suggest you visit your concerned doctor for the prescription.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
