How Can Blepharospasm Be Treated?

Hi I m having a dialema with my eye today. I can only open it as long as I m not focused on anything but i feel like it is flickering in my head. This is my left eye and I only have clear vision to the right while it is open. As I type I am unable to open my eye all it feels like it is being forced shut. I ve had issues before when I m tired it will sometimes only half open but not like this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This is blepharospasm, where eyes don't open properly and get shut at times . I would advice you to see an oculoplastic surgeon, who will prescribe a course of Botox and it should help.

Hope it helps.
