How Can Blurred Vision While Suffering From Trigeminal Neuralgia Be Treated?

I have been on Trileptal for two weeks now. I have trigeminal neuralgia. I am going off gabapentin and going on Trileptal. My vision is very blurry, especially this past week. Will I adjust to this medication and then will my vision get better? YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

Trigeminal neuralgia can be treated with surgery and an all gesic tablet. Refraction should be done and if error detected it should be corrected. Near vision, the problem should be tested and correction if required. Amblyopia should be corrected cover test should be done and euphoria detected and corrected if required. If age is below 9 then it can be corrected by surgery above that it will be cosmetic correction. Orthoptic treatment can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
